Job summary

Control Southern is seeking an Application Engineer to directly assist clients with engineering support, quotations, logistics, and sales fulfillment in a defined territory. You will work with internal teams and customers through application consultations, product selections, and sales processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and up to two years of related experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; mechanical, chemical, industrial or electrical preferred.
• 2 years of related industry experience, preferably in process control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience preferred (IFS/Oracle/SAP, Salesforce/ACT!).

Responsibilities

• Engineer, select, configure, and quote products and services to industrial process control clients.
• Formulate creative solutions to be delivered on time within logistic constraints.
• Own and direct the internal flow of quotes and orders for multiple business units.
• Develop final control process solutions beneficial to customer and Control Southern.
• Respond quickly to requests for quotes, orders, and technical support.
