Job summary

Control Southern is hiring an Isolation & Actuation Application Engineer to directly assist clients through engineering support, quotation development, logistics and sales fulfillment within a defined sales territory. You will work with internal teams and customers through application consultations, product selections, and sales processes.

The role emphasizes a strong technical foundation, customer focus, and the ability to manage quotes and orders across multiple business units.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.S.) or equivalent.
Two years industry related experience with preference for process control.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Exposure to ERP software (IFS, Oracle, SAP).
Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, ACT!).
Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
Must be customer focused.

Responsibilities

Engineer, select, configure, and quote products for industrial process control clients.
Formulate creative solutions delivered on time within logistics constraints.
Own and direct the internal flow of quotes and orders for multiple units.
Develop technically sound control process solutions benefiting customer and company.
Respond quickly to quotes, orders, technical support requests.
Ensure purchase orders are processed timely.
Manage profit margins and sales process end-to-end.
