Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a market compliance legal professional to administer ISO/RTO and electric regulatory compliance across multiple markets. You will coordinate with Asset Management, Energy Management, External Affairs, and other teams to ensure timely registrations, submittals, certifications, and ongoing compliance.

The role requires a JD and at least five years in power markets compliance, with knowledge of FERC tariff structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) are required.
• At least five years of experience in power markets compliance, electric regulatory compliance, or market operations.
• Knowledge of FERC and ISO/RTO tariff structures across multiple markets.
• Experience with renewable energy assets and generator interconnection rules and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administers, facilitates, and manages compliance with ISO/RTO requirements across CAISO, PJM, SPP, MISO, ISO-NE, NYISO, and ERCOT, including market registrations and certifications.
• Maintains internal controls and preventive measures to support ISO/RTO compliance and tracks deadlines.
• Manages documentation and evidence for compliance.
• Collaborates with External Affairs to monitor ISO/RTO changes and communicates impacts to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborates with Energy Management on market rule and design changes.
