Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a market compliance legal professional to oversee ISO/RTO regulatory requirements and related market rules. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory, this role will coordinate across departments including Asset Management, Energy Management, and External Affairs to ensure timely compliance and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in power markets compliance, strong FERC/tariff knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in power markets compliance or related fields.
• Knowledge of FERC and ISO/RTO tariff structures across multiple markets.
• Experience with renewable energy assets and generator interconnection rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Administers ISO/RTO compliance across CAISO, PJM, SPP, MISO, ISO-NE, NYISO, and ERCOT.
• Manages compliance procedures, internal controls, and deadlines.
• Documents evidence of compliance with ISO/RTO requirements.
• Collaborates with External Affairs to monitor changes and advise stakeholders.
• Works with Energy Management on market rule changes.
