Job summary

Clearway Energy Group in Denver, CO, is seeking a market compliance legal professional to administer and manage ISO/RTO compliance and related regulatory requirements. You will report to the Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory, and work with multiple internal teams to ensure timely certifications and updates.

You will monitor ISO/RTO developments, coordinate with stakeholders, and contribute to governing procedures and controls to sustain compliant operations across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and J.D. are required.
• Minimum 5 years in power markets compliance or related fields.
• Knowledge of FERC and ISO/RTO tariffs across multiple markets.
• Experience with renewable energy assets and interconnection rules.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administers, facilitates, and manages ISO/RTO compliance across CAISO, PJM, SPP, MISO, ISO-NE, NYISO, and ERCOT.
• Maintains internal controls and deadlines for ISO/RTO compliance.
• Documents evidence to demonstrate compliance with ISO/RTO requirements.
• Collaborates with External Affairs to monitor changes in ISO/RTO requirements and market rules and informs stakeholders of impacts.
• Supports Energy Management on market rule and design changes that affect Clearway.
