Job summary

Clearway Energy is seeking a market compliance legal professional to manage ISO/RTO and electric regulatory compliance. Reports to the Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory, and will coordinate with Asset Management, Energy Management, and other teams.

The role requires a JD and a minimum of five years in power markets compliance, with strong knowledge of FERC and multiple ISO/RTO tariffs. Hybrid work is available with location in San Diego area and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and J.D. are required.
• 5+ years of experience in power markets compliance or electric Regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of FERC and ISO/RTO tariff structures across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Administers ISO/RTO compliance across CAISO, PJM, and other markets.
• Maintains internal controls and deadlines for compliance requirements.
• Documents evidence of compliance and prepares certifications.
• Collaborates with External Affairs to monitor regulatory changes and impact.
• Coordinates with Energy Management on market rule changes.
