Job summary

Group CBS, Inc. seeks an ISO Manager to lead the Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives across manufacturing and service operations in Irving, TX.

This role focuses on building and sustaining ISO 9001 certification, UL 508A compliance, and adherence to PEARL/EERS/EEITS standards for reconditioned equipment. The successful candidate will drive internal audits, investigate nonconformances, manage documentation, and coordinate with UL and customer audits while mentoring staff on QMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with a focus on quality systems.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification required or must be obtained within 6 months.
• ASQ certification (CQE, CQM/OE, or CMQ/OE) preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify, implement, and maintain the ISO 9001 QMS for manufacturing and service operations.
• Plan and execute internal audit schedules; liaise with external ISO 9001 certification bodies.
• Lead nonconformance investigations and CAPA closure across functions.
• Manage document control systems and quality records retention.
• Monitor quality metrics and report to leadership.
• Train staff on QMS requirements across engineering, production, and service teams.
• Ensure supplier/import inspection processes meet certification standards.
• Support customer quality audits and RFQ/quality-review activities.
• Maintain UL 508A Follow-Up Service Program and UL labeling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 and NFPA 79 where applicable.
• Interface with engineering to ensure SCCR compliance with UL 508A.
