Job summary

Group CBS in Las Colinas/Irving, TX seeks an ISO Manager to lead the Quality Management System and drive ISO 9001 certification across manufacturing and service operations, including MCC bucket and panel manufacturing, and reconditioning.

You will oversee audits, CAPA, document control, and quality metrics while aligning with UL 508A, NFPA 70/79, PEARL standards, and 10 CFR Part 21 where applicable. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in electrical equipment quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Management, or related field.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification required or obtainable within 6 months.
ASQ certification (CQE, CQM/OE, or CMQ/OE) preferred.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years in quality management within electrical equipment manufacturing/service industry preferred.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining an ISO 9001 program from initial certification through recertification cycles.

Responsibilities

Modify, implement, and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System from the ground up, including quality manual, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
Plan and execute internal audit schedules; serve as primary liaison for external ISO 9001 certification body audits.
Lead nonconformance investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA closure across manufacturing, repair, and field integration functions.
Manage document control systems, including procedures, work instructions, engineering drawings, bills of material, test records, and quality records retention.
Monitor quality metrics: scrap rate, first-pass yield, customer complaints, supplier quality, in-process/final inspection failure rates; report to leadership.
Train staff on QMS requirements across engineering, production, bucket fabrication and assembly, panel assembly, and breaker service/repair teams.
Ensure supplier and incoming inspection processes for electrical components and raw materials align with certification standards.
Support customer quality audits and RFQ/quality agreement reviews.
Maintain UL 508A Follow-Up Service Program and coordination with UL field inspector during audits.
Ensure NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and UL 508A SCCR requirements are met in panel/bucket builds.
Interface with engineering to ensure compatibility with UL 508A listing requirements.
Establish and maintain quality procedures for manufacture and reconditioning of MCC buckets and MCCBs, ICCBs, and motor control centers.
Align reconditioning procedures with PEARL EERS/EEITS and NETA testing standards.
Maintain traceability and certification records across newly manufactured and reconditioned components.
