Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Penrose, CO is seeking a Document Control Specialist to establish, implement, and maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliant documentation. You will ensure documents are created, reviewed, approved, distributed, and archived to support quality management, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, this onsite role collaborates with engineering, quality, operations and vendors; you will manage lifecycle, templates, version control, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Information Management, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in document control within engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001-certified organization.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements, particularly documented information control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures aligned with ISO 9001:2015 Clause 7.5 (Documented Information).
• Ensure documents are reviewed, approved, and updated prior to issue.
• Control distribution, access, retrieval, and use of documented information.
• Maintain document registers, master lists, and revision histories.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Manage the full lifecycle of documents including creation, revision, approval, distribution, and archiving.
