Field Calibrations, Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to own the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality system, act as primary liaison with accreditation bodies, and drive CAPA and internal audits.

The role leads the QA team and partners with the Laboratory Manager to maintain calibration excellence across aerospace, defense, and research clients. The position offers a clear path toward Chief Quality Officer, with strong emphasis on data-driven improvements and applied AI in quality management.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a physical science, engineering, or metrology discipline or equivalent hands-on experience in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 environment.
• 7+ years of quality management or QA experience in a calibration/measurement lab holding ISO/IEC 17025 or similar standard.
• Lead auditee or technical author experience during A2LA/ANAB assessments.
• Working knowledge of metrological traceability language, GUM, and NIST hierarchy.
• Strong CAPA leadership with measurable closure metrics.
• Ability to drive change with executive-level scope without micromanagement.

• Own the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality management system and interface with accreditation bodies.
• Lead accreditation activities, surveillance visits, and scope expansion decisions.
• Manage CAPA program, nonconformances, and customer complaints with systematic improvements.
