Job summary
PROSOLAR on St. Croix, USVI, is seeking a Solar Technician to inspect, install and service solar panel systems on customer sites. You will assess sites, interpret installation plans, perform electrical work and ensure safety compliance to local codes.

Qualifications
- Previous PV design, PV installation or PV electrical experience is helpful with a minimum of one year of field construction experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, including the ability to identify and report safety hazards.
Responsibilities
- Assess the job site and identify hazards.
- Create or interpret solar installation plans and mapping.
- Install, inspect, maintain and repair solar panel systems.
- Perform electrical work to connect/repair full solar systems.
- Weatherproof installations per safety regulations.
- Educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
