Solar Maintenance Pros, Inc. seeks a Solar Photovoltaic Senior Technician to assemble, install, and maintain PV systems. You will troubleshoot, replace components, and provide detailed reports for each site.

The role requires the ability to work at height, read plans, and follow electrical codes. Strong communication with clients and safety-focused practices are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical school training preferred but not required.
• Previous related experience preferred at least 4yrs.
• NABCEP Certification preferred but not required.
• ET Card Preferred but not required.
• Inverter, solar, battery Equipment Manufacturer Certifications (Any)

Responsibilities

• Installs solar panels on roofs and other structures.
• Troubleshoot AC & DC electrical systems, identify faults, determine equipment status.
• Configures PV and battery systems based on site conditions and customers’ needs, and connects panels to the power grid.
• Follows building standards and codes when making repairs, processes RMAs with manufacturers.
• Ensures equipment is weather-sealed.
• Performs routine maintenance on PV systems, cleans modules and inverters.
• Communicate professionally with clients and manage frustrated clients.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
