Job summary

ProSolar Florida on St. Croix, USVI, seeks a Solar Technician to schedule, perform, and record inspections for installed PV projects, ensuring sign-offs and milestone completion for functional systems.

Responsibilities include site assessment, planning installation steps, wiring, grounding, and customer education. Requires 1+ year PV/installation experience, a valid license, and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with PV design, installation, or electrical work preferred (1+ year in field construction).
• Must be 21+ years old with valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assess job site and identify hazards.
• Interpret or create solar installation plans and map components.
• Install, inspect, maintain and repair solar panel systems.
• Perform electrical connections, grounding, and testing for systems.
• Weatherproof installations per safety regulations and manufacturer specs.
• Coordinate with Service Administrator on schedules and service tickets.
• Educate customers on system operation and maintenance.
