Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. seeks an experienced Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) – eLearning to support NATO HQ SACT CMDS in Norfolk, Virginia.

The role collaborates with SMEs and NATO course providers to analyze learning requirements and design, develop, assess, and improve eLearning and instructor-led training solutions. Responsibilities include needs analyses, objective development, course structure design, storyboard content creation, assessments, evaluation, and implementing NATO-compliant

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of eLearning development experience within the last 5 years.
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience communicating effectively with clients, SMEs, and stakeholders throughout the instructional design process.
Minimum 5 years of experience using eLearning authoring tools to develop SCORM-compliant learning content.
Minimum 5 years of experience developing content within Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Moodle or equivalent platforms.
Ability to provide a portfolio demonstrating contributions to at least 3 eLearning projects, including representative storyboards demonstrating course outline, course flow, and assessment strategy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative software.
Demonstrated English-language proficiency equivalent to STANAG 6001 SLP 3333.
Valid passport from a NATO member nation with no travel restrictions to NATO nations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders across NATO nations, partners, and entities to conduct learning needs analyses (TNA) and identify learning gaps.
Develop clear and measurable learning objectives aligned with identified needs and course goals.
Design course structures, modules, lessons, and assessments for logical content flow.
Develop instructional content from SME materials using storyboard-based and rapid development approaches.
Select and implement instructional strategies for engaging learning experiences.
Design and implement pre-, formative, and summative assessments to measure progress and course effectiveness.
Develop evaluation processes to assess overall course impact.
Establish feedback mechanisms and incorporate improvements to content and delivery.
Coordinate with clients and project team members to support schedules and deliverables.
Provide ISD support and QA to NATO course providers ensuring NATO compliance.
Prepare, facilitate, and evaluate instructor-led activities in virtual and residential settings.
Represent the Learning Technology Section at meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to support program objectives.
Research emerging learning technologies and methodologies to drive NATO education innovation.
