Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. invites applications for an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to support NATO HQ SACT CMDS in Norfolk, VA. You will analyze learning needs with SMEs and design, develop, and assess eLearning and ILT solutions compliant with NATO standards.

The role requires extensive collaboration across NATO partners, creation of objectives and assessments, and ongoing evaluation for improvement. Travel may be required; a NATO SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of eLearning development experience within the last 5 years.
• 5+ years of experience communicating with clients, SMEs, and stakeholders.
• 5+ years using eLearning authoring tools to develop SCORM content.
• 5+ years developing content within LMS such as Moodle or equivalent.
• Portfolio demonstrating contributions to at least 3 eLearning projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
• English-language proficiency equivalent to STANAG 6001 SLP 3333.
• Active NATO SECRET or National SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to analyze learning needs and gaps.
• Design course structures, modules, and assessments with clear objectives.
• Develop content from SME sources using instructional design methods.
• Implement pre-, formative, and summative assessments.
• Evaluate course effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with clients, SMEs, and project teams on schedules and deliverables.
• Provide ISD support and QA to NATO course providers for compliance.
• Facilitate instructor-led activities in virtual and residential settings.
• Represent the Learning Technology Section at meetings and conferences.
