Job summary

Nascence Group LLC seeks a Site Manager / ISA Certified Arborist to oversee commercial tree-maintenance at a sensitive public cemetery site in Togus, Maine. You will supervise crews, ensure adherence to contract specs, and coordinate with Government/COR to minimize disruption to ceremonies.

You will stay on site during tree work, enforce safety, manage equipment and schedules, and maintain professional operations.

Qualifications

Current ISA Certified Arborist certification required.
Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience managing commercial tree-maintenance operations.
Experience with large-tree removal, pruning, hazardous/deadwood limb removal, and stump grinding/removal.
Experience with working at cemeteries or similar institutional sites preferred.
Experience with rigging, rope lowering, aerial lifts, and related equipment preferred.
Strong knowledge of tree-work safety, PPE, hazard identification, and site protection.
Capable of supervising personnel and coordinating field operations with Government representatives.

Responsibilities

Supervise tree crews and oversee daily operations including large-tree removal and stump grinding.
Ensure all work complies with contract specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Coordinate personnel, equipment, schedules, and site activities with Government/COR.
Remain on site for at least 8 hours per day during tree work, except during debris pickup.
Ensure proper employee conduct, site protection, cleanup, and safe operations without disrupting ceremonies.
