Job summary

SFM Landscape Services LLC in Medley, FL is seeking an ISA Certified Arborist / Tree Care Manager to lead our tree care operations, including trimming, removals, emergency response, and debris hauling. This leadership role requires safety focus, crew leadership, and strong communication.

You will drive efficiency, ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI standards, and municipal regulations while mentoring crews and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum in tree care maintenance services and at least three years supervising crews.
• ISA Certified Arborist certification required; TRAQ preferred or must be obtained within 12 months.
• Must be trained in ANSI A300 & ANSI Z133 or equivalent per ANSI 300 & ANSI Z133 standards.
• Qualified Line-Clearance Arborist or able to obtain qualification per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 and 1910.332.
• English required; Spanish proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tree trimming, removals, emergency response, and debris hauling.
• Manage labor hours, equipment usage, and production to meet budget and contract specs.
• Coordinate with utility providers ensuring OSHA and line-clearance compliance.
• Provide 24/7 emergency and storm response, including crew deployment and safety planning.
• Ensure compliance with municipal permits and protected tree regulations; maintain documentation.
• Train and mentor crew leaders on ANSI standards and safety; develop bench strength.
