SGS Consulting in Columbus, OH is seeking a dedicated IT hardware logistics assistant to support inbound/outbound shipments and inventory control. The role requires physical stamina, meticulous data entry, and the ability to work on-site full time.

You will process shipments, maintain accurate serial records, and assist with asset tracking as part of a structured logistics workflow for IT hardware distribution and returns.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience.
• Onsite work full-time required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and up to 80 lbs with assistance.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, store, and inventory IT/IS hardware using designated inventory systems.
• Ship IT hardware according to scheduled deadlines and service requests.
• Unpack, pick, pack, and prepare equipment for shipment to field technicians and stores.
• Process outgoing and returned equipment accurately and in a timely manner.
• Record and maintain accurate serial numbers and asset tracking information.
• Ensure proper handling of equipment using UPS and other shipping methods.
• Maintain clean, organized, and orderly work areas.
• Follow verbal and written instructions for equipment movement and processing.
• Support overall logistics workflow for IT hardware distribution and returns.
