Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Information Services seeks an IS Team Lead to guide cross-functional operational support and project teams of 3–10 members. You will coordinate the selection, installation, configuration, implementation and support of systems, ensuring alignment with NMH standards and capital and operating budgets.

This role requires strong leadership, clear communication and rigorous project planning to deliver on time, with vendors, clients and IS staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects and implementations across multiple teams to ensure deliverables on schedule.
• Prepare project plans with accurate estimates of timeframes and resources.
• Manage project team including clients, vendors, consultants and IS staff.
• Ensure established design and quality standards are followed for testing, documentation and training.
• Provide technical and analytical expertise to support development, implementation and ongoing use of systems.
• Understand client operations and work with departments and vendors to implement effective solutions.
• Maintain documentation and lead support for installed systems and customer service improvements.
