Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking an IS Team Lead to guide cross-functional project teams and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of information systems initiatives. The role emphasizes strong communication, adherence to standards, and collaboration with clinical and administrative stakeholders across the organization.

The IS Team Lead will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, drive project plans, monitor progress, and ensure solutions align with NMH policies and capital/operating budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of relative experience.
• Experience in leading Information Services projects.
• Experience in delivering formal presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Healthcare knowledge or experience.
• Knowledge of business areas represented on the team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects and implementations across multiple teams to ensure deliverables are met on schedule.
• Manage information systems projects, prepare plans and budgets, allocate resources, and report status to stakeholders.
• Ensure design and quality standards are followed, and that testing, documentation, and training meet requirements.
• Provide technical and analytical expertise to support development, implementation, and ongoing use of applications.
