Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an IS&T Field Lead in Houston to oversee a large-scale hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You will guide support for IT services across site and field offices, deliver executive white-glove support, and manage upgrades and new technology projects to ensure continuous improvement of IS&T systems.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, incident resolution, and proactive service delivery in a global context, with strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong IT infrastructure and security knowledge; experience with Microsoft domains, cloud VPN, SDWAN.
• Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITIL) and asset management.
• Experience with End User computing, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, monitors and augments IT reports, dashboards and metrics; recommends improvements.
• Develops IT support guides and training materials; shares knowledge with IT teams.
• Leads special projects and cross-functional tasks as needed.
• Provides executive white-glove support globally (direct and remote).
• Reports on metrics and performance; supports incident resolution.
• Identifies staff skills gaps and provides coaching to address technical challenges.
• Follows established technology standards, policies, security requirements.
• Conducts project reviews on schedule and reports progress to leadership.
