HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Pigging Equipment Operator to join our safety-conscious team in Deer Park, TX. This role focuses on the safe execution of downstream pigging jobs and requires strict adherence to permits, paperwork, and site rules.

The ideal candidate will have experience with PSI, RPM and Flow, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to working long shifts and being on call 24/7 when required. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

TWIC Card required.
Operate a manual transmission.
Minimum 1 year in industrial cleaning services.
Strong knowledge of equipment used in service line.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Current certification as an authorized Company driver.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Competent in PSI, RPM, and Flow before operation of pumper units.
Filling out, understanding and accepting permits; complete required documentation.
Complete safety and post-job paperwork as required (timesheets, receipts, notes).
Be on call 24/7 and work shifts up to 12–16 hours (day or night).
Work at Industrial Owner Facilities across North America.
Rig-in into fired heaters and manage hose/pipe routing; troubleshoot equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be competent in PSI, RPM, and Flow before operation of pumper units
Filling out, understanding and accepting permits
Gathering and completing required documentation such as:
- Timesheets from the crew
- Service receipts
- Notes for Supervisor of shift events (e.g. rig in start time, delays).
- Run Sheets, filled out properly
- Properly completed safety paperwork
- Post job paperwork as required
Pigging or refinery industry experience preferred but not required.
To work safely and adhere to all company and customer rules and regulations, including wearing all required PPE.
Help Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all applicable safety paperwork.
Help review all aspects of work from the jobsite to equipment before commencing work to ensure safety.
Ensure all equipment is functioning.
Help rig-in into fired heaters as needed.
- Determine the route in which the hoses and hard pipe will be rigged in
- Assist in removing hoses and hard pipe and stringing out in the pre-determined route utilizing whip checks

Able to work shifts up to 12-16 hours (day or night)
Determine the route in which the hoses wand pipe will be rigged in
Knowledge of computer operating system:
- How to start the program
- How to calibrate the program
Troubleshooting the equipment:
- Identify problems with the pump (mechanical seals, bearings, etc.)
- Identify issues with the valve tree valves (twisted stems, leaking valves, etc.)
- Identify issues with the engine (engine shut down, engine won't start, etc.)
- Identify when there is an issue with a solenoid

QUALIFICATIONS

TWIC Card required
Operate a Manuel Transmission
Minimum 1 or more years, verifiable service within the industrial cleaning industry.
Strong knowledge in the operation of equipment used in service line.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Current certification as an authorized Company driver.
Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred.
