Job summary

HPC Industrial is seeking a Pigging and Decoking Operator to join our safety‑driven team. You will support safe execution of jobs across service lines, act as a safety representative, and assist in rigging to fired heaters for decoking readiness.

Responsibilities include mechanical decoking, operating special equipment, inspecting surfaces, and performing field maintenance. English proficiency and physical capability are required.

Qualifications

• Understand safety training and respond to emergencies.
• Lift and move hoses up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Possess basic mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

The Pigging and Decoking Operator serves as a representative of HPC Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. • Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions;
• Assist in Rig in to fired heaters in readiness for decoking
• Assist in the Mecanical Decoking of fired heaters
• Operation of special equipment,
• May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications;
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job;
• Provide general maintenance in the field;
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;
• Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
• Must be capable of setting up equipment for the job including lifting and carrying hoses that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred
• Pigging or refinery industry experience preferred but not required
• Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;
