You will support rigging, decoking operations and equipment handling on-site, interacting with clients to ensure smooth, compliant job execution.

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative for company and customer policies and procedures.
• Assist in rigging to fired heaters for decoking readiness.
• Assist in mechanical decoking of fired heaters.
• Operate specialized equipment as required.
• Inspect surfaces for conformance to specs.
• Perform routine on-site maintenance on equipment.
• Provide general field maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This team member is responsible for the safe and successful execution of jobs across all service lines and various other responsibilities. The Pigging and Decoking Operator serves as a representative of HPC Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions;
• Assist in Rig in to fired heaters in readiness for decoking
• Assist in the Mecanical Decoking of fired heaters
• Operation of special equipment,
• May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications;
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job;
• Provide general maintenance in the field;
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;
• Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
• Must be capable of setting up equipment for the job including lifting and carrying hoses that may weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred
• Pigging or refinery industry experience preferred but not required
• Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;
