Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, seeks a Field Water Treatment Technician for highly mobile, field-based work and extensive travel (90%+). You will install, operate, monitor, and service water treatment equipment with supervision, maintaining safety and quality across multiple client sites.

This role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and contributing to best practices while supporting the engineering team and site management.

Qualifications

• Experience operating water treatment systems (solids removal, media)
• Willingness to travel 90% or more to client sites
• Valid driver’s license and driving policy compliance

Responsibilities

• Plan, install and commission mobile water treatment equipment as directed
• Operate and monitor water treatment systems during project periods
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and process systems in the field
• Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines and PM schedules
• Collect data and report system performance and water chemistry
• Contribute to best-practice development and knowledge sharing across the field team
