Thompson-Industrial is seeking a dedicated Equipment Operator to join our safety-conscious team in Cofield, NC. The role involves general labor, operating equipment within the facility, performing daily maintenance, and reporting equipment issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote safety, environmental, and operational policies.
• Operate forklift and other equipment.
• Complete daily checklists for equipment maintenance.
• Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces, atmospheres with low clearances, and at heights.
• Accurately complete and review work documentation.
• Interact professionally with customers and exhibit excellent communication skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Wear protective clothing and equipment, including Nomex coveralls, back belts, and respirators.
• Work under extreme climate conditions.
• Handle exposure to dust, fumes, exhaust, and pressurized fluids.
• Pass a hair follicle test.
• Must have tanker endorsement and no automatic restrictions.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience operating heavy-duty forklifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; dependable.
