Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an Irrigation Technician to install and maintain irrigation systems for parks, gardens, and other green spaces. The role requires operating heavy machinery like trenchers and soil compactors while ensuring safety and efficiency on job sites.

The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of irrigation experience, a valid driver’s license, and a TCEQ Irrigator's Tech license. You will inspect, repair, and upgrade irrigation hardware, and work outdoors in varying

Qualifications

• 1–5 years landscape irrigation experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• TCEQ Irrigator's Tech license required.
• Understanding of irrigation controller hardware.
• Two wire system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed irrigation inspections documenting repairs.
• Clean decorative water features.
• Excavate and trench using hand tools.
• Backfill and compact to minimize spoils.
• Maintain clean, safe jobsite and equipment.
• Train and mentor junior personnel on irrigation topics.
• Adjust sprinklers and replace nozzles including check valves.
