The role you’ll contribute:

• Performs system checks on irrigation controllers and zones, makes repairs, and maintains records.
• Directs small teams on irrigation related to landscape projects.
• Identifies and communicates deficiencies in irrigation coverage and ensures heads are properly aligned and sized to prevent water waste.
• Uses AdventHealth vehicles to transport equipment and personnel for maintenance across properties.
• Collaborates with outside vendors during renovations or new constructions to meet irrigation needs while minimizing impact on existing infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with commercial irrigation systems.
• Must have a class “E” Florida Driver’s License and a driving record compliant with Florida Hospital policy.
• Experience with Central control systems and two-wire systems is preferred.
• Florida Department of Environmental Protection certificate in Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI BMP) is preferred.

Job Summary:

• Performs routine irrigation and landscape maintenance tasks using hand and power tools.
• Responsibilities include irrigation system maintenance and installation, as well as small landscape projects.
• Tasks include system checks, repairs, head and valve replacements, watering, digging, sodding, edging, and installing new lines and controllers.
• Must be flexible to work various schedules to complete tasks.
