DJ's Landscape Management in Hastings, MN is seeking an Irrigation Technician to maintain and optimize irrigation systems for our client properties. This role focuses on hands-on installation, start-ups, inspections, troubleshooting, and seasonal care to ensure healthy, thriving landscapes.

The position requires irrigation experience, blueprints literacy, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors with physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Commercial irrigation system experience: service or installation.
• Ability to read blueprints and as-builts.
• Possess a Driver's license and experience driving a truck with a trailer.
• General repair/handyman attributes and work experience.
• Smartphone to track time, materials, and navigate to properties.
• Ability to bend, squat, dig with a shovel, and lift for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on with irrigation systems throughout the season.
• Perform spring start-ups and system inspections.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize irrigation systems.
• Winterize systems in fall.
• Support customers to keep properties healthy and well‑maintained.

Requirements

• Commercial irrigation system experience: service orinstallation
• General working knowledge ofsystem components and function to successfully troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to accurately read blueprintsand as-built's
• General repair/handyman attributes and work experience.
• Possess a Driver's driver’s license
• Experience driving a truck w/ trailer
• Possess a Smart phone and use to track time and material, as well as navigate to properties
