Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking an Irrigation Technician to install and maintain irrigation systems across parks, campuses and other green spaces. This role requires operating heavy equipment such as trenchers and soil compactors, performing inspections, and ensuring efficient water usage.

The candidate will document repairs, perform winterizations and start-up inspections, and cooperate with team members on technical irrigation topics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–5 years landscape irrigation experience.
• Knowledge of irrigation controller hardware.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• TCEQ Irrigator's Tech license mandatory.
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain irrigation systems for parks, crops, and green spaces.
• Conduct detailed irrigation inspections and document repairs.
• Excavate, trench, backfill, and compact soil.
• Program conventional and smart controllers.
• Install sensors, valves, and master valves; perform water-saving upgrades.
• Record materials and labor for each job.
