Job summary

Standard Constructors, Inc. seeks a Foreman to lead heavy industrial civil construction crews on active job sites, overseeing safety, productivity, and proper use of tools to meet project specs and timelines.

Responsibilities include directing skilled crews, ensuring supplies, enforcing safety policies, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality in industrial facilities and petrochemical environments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid TWIC card or receipt confirming application.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a foreman role and 5+ years’ heavy industrial civil construction experience.
• Must be experienced in heavy industrial civil construction processes to efficiently and effectively perform all job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Proactive in all areas of safety and recognize potential hazards.
• Leads a skilled labor crew engaged in specific construction activities.
• Optimizes manpower to ensure efficient and timely completion of work.
• Ensure work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment, and materials.
• Demonstrate good organizational skills and follow/enforce policies and procedures.
• Give instructions to the workforce in an efficient and effective way.
• Read and interpret concrete form placing and reinforcement procedures.
• Ensure work is completed according to project specs and safety standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.
