Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Louisiana is seeking a Lead Foreman to effectively direct crew daily activities, coordinate equipment, and ensure work aligns with project plans, codes, and safety standards.

You will train crew members, monitor productivity, manage safety procedures, prepare reports, and support scheduling with project supervision to keep the job on track and within budget. This role requires strong leadership and clear communication on site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading crews on construction/industrial sites.
• Ability to train safety practices and procedures.
• Strong communicator with crews and supervision.
• Understanding of scheduling, material control, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize crew, equipment, tools, and materials.
• Ensure equipment is operated and maintained safely.
• Maintain reporting records (quantities, productivity, time sheets).
• Assist in developing weekly schedule and activity sequences.
• Ensure timely completion within estimated costs and quality standards.
• Promote crew safety and enforce company/government safety rules.
• Lead toolbox talks and communicate plans, scope and schedule to crew.
• Monitor compliance with all company policies.
