Position: Ironworker

This role involves performing duties to raise, place, and unite girders, columns, and other structural steel members to form completed structures or frameworks. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up hoisting equipment, fastening steel members, guiding lifts, verifying alignment, and other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and select required materials for construction.
• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural steel members.
• Fasten steel members to hoist cables using chains, cables, or ropes.
• Guide lifted structures into proper position and align rivet holes.
• Drive drift pins through rivet holes.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation.
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment using plumb bobs and levels.
• Secure structures with bolts until permanently fixed by welding or riveting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer. No visa sponsorship available.
• Valid Driver's License.
