Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a skilled helper/steel erector to join a crew responsible for raising, modifying, and bolting structural-steel members to form completed structures. You will assist with hoisting setup, alignment, bolting, and welding, while following project drawings and safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of related experience, basic math skills, and the ability to read safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 months of experience in helper role
• Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret measuring tools (tape measure, speed square, framing square).
• Assist in setting up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural-steel members.
• Assist in bolting, welding, and aligning members during erection.
