Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a Lead on-site supervisor to effectively manage construction crews, coordinate equipment and materials, and ensure safety and quality on site in Rayville, Louisiana. You will lead daily activities, monitor progress, and report on productivity and costs.

Expect to develop weekly schedules, ensure adherence to plans and safety rules, and communicate clearly with leadmen and crews to maintain project timelines and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge to perform all essential functions of crew supervision.
• Ability to plan tasks to safely and efficiently carry out all work assigned, and to train safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and effectively manage crew members' daily activities and production per project timeline, plans, specifications, codes and standards.
• Ensure construction equipment is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily reports.
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequencing of activities for assigned crew.
• Ensure timely completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Promote safety by conducting toolbox talks and communicating safety concerns and plans to crews.
• Monitor compliance with company policies among all supervised employees.
