Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio seeks a Research Compliance Coordinator to ensure adherence to federal/state regulations and institutional policies across multiple research compliance areas. The role provides regulatory expertise and administrative support to the UIW research community, covering human subjects, conflicts of interest, training in responsible conduct, and ethics education.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in a relevant field, two years in human subjects research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Public or Business Administration, or other applicable research-intensive discipline.
• Two (2) years of experience in human subjects research compliance, to include working with federal regulations (45 CFR 46, 21 CFR 56), IRB operations, and/or applicable state and HIPAA regulations.
• Master's Degree preferred for advanced qualifications.
• Certified IRB Professional (CIP) or Certified Research Compliance Professional (CRCP) credentials are advantageous.
• Experience in a university or government setting with human subject research compliance issues is beneficial.

Responsibilities
