Job summary

The IRB Coordinator serves as the Institutional Review Board administrator for the Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee, providing essential administrative support and oversight to ensure strict compliance with OHRP and FDA regulations.

The role handles IRB applications, coordinates committee meetings, and advises investigators on human subject research policies, contributing to ongoing AAHRPP accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of IRB processes and human subject research regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and organize complex data
• Preferred: Current CITI training or IRB Manager system experience
