Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an IRB Manager to provide operational leadership, regulatory oversight, and staff supervision for the IRB office. The role ensures human subjects research complies with federal, state, and institutional policies and guides investigators through the review process.

The IRB Manager will lead IRB office operations, develop training materials, and promote an ethical and compliant research culture.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a research or science field is required.
• CIP certification required at time of hire.
• 5 years of IRB office or regulatory compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on federal, state, and local regs for human subjects research.
• Ensure IRB policies align with current regulations and train staff and investigators.
• Lead IRB office staff and support Board members and investigators.
• Maintain and optimize the electronic IRB system, workflows and templates.
• Prepare IRB meeting materials and moderate meetings to ensure determinations.
