Job summary

Florida State University is hiring an Institutional Review Board Administrator in a hybrid role within the Office of Human Subjects Protection. You will interpret regulatory requirements, assist with IRB submissions in the RAMP IRB system, and support pre- and post-review activities for human subjects research.

The role includes PACM audits, training development, and collaboration with IRB members and researchers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field with two years of human subjects protection experience.
• CIP or eligible within three years of hire.
• Experience interpreting regulations and assisting with submissions to IRB.

Responsibilities

• Provide human research subject matter information to IRB members, researchers, staff, and employees by interpreting regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre- and post-review of submissions, document findings, and communicate outcomes or need for clarification.
• Perform PACM audits and coordinate with staff to document trends and ensure compliance.
• Prepare reports and training materials on human subjects research guidance and templates.
• Carry out other duties related to human subjects protection at FSU.
