Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active CIP certification or ability to obtain within two years of employment.
• Experience in a research environment and familiarity with the IRB.
• Excellent writing skills and strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Analytical ability to apply federal regulations and institutional policy.
• Ability to advise investigators on federal regulations and IRB submission requirements.
• Proficiency with Windows, RAMP, spreadsheets and word processing.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and manages incoming applications, checklists, and follow-ups; conducts reviews.
• Instructs and counsels investigators and staff; conducts educational IRB presentations.
• Maintains complete, accurate records including IRB minutes.
