Job summary

Responsibilities include reviewing documentation for IRS alignment, processing transactions, and resolving regulatory issues while maintaining service quality for internal partners and adherence to risk controls.

Qualifications

• Two years of financial services or banking operations experience preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of banking operations, products, services, and systems.
• Working knowledge of IRA and HSA regulatory, IRS reporting requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to stay current with regulatory changes and system updates.

Responsibilities

• Review IRA and HSA documentation for accuracy and compliance with IRS requirements and bank policies.
• Process IRA and HSA transactions including contributions, distributions, openings and closings, adjustments, and interest adjustments.
• Research, investigate, and resolve routine to moderately complex IRA and HSA issues.
• Monitor tax reporting and operations; identify errors and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Provide high-quality internal customer service on IRS regulations and reporting requirements.
• Support IRS tax reporting by validating data and assisting with reporting and reconciliations.
