Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC seeks a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist to support invasive Angio and interventional procedures in the IR suite. You will perform specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage, manage surgical scrub and circulation duties, and provide total patient care during and after procedures.

Requires ARRT certification and completion of an accredited IR program; CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Completion of accredited Radiology Interventional Program or ARRT/RCIS IR training.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized radiography and fluoroscopic coverage under a physician.
• Explains the procedure to the patient and preps the patient.
• Obtains medications and contrast materials as directed for procedures.
• Circulates during procedures and maintains patient comfort.
• Records hemodynamic reports and communicates equipment issues.
