Job summary

Santa Fe College in Florida is seeking an IR Developer and Analyst to collect, organize, and report institutional data to support strategic decisions. The role partners with ITS to define data parameters, query criteria, and reliable datasets from SIS and ERP systems.

The candidate will perform descriptive analytics, build reports, and present findings to internal and external audiences, including state and federal governments, while maintaining data confidentiality and FERPA compliance.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, mathematics, statistics, industrial engineering, and/or related disciplines with coursework clearly emphasizing quantitative reasoning with two (2) years of related experience working with data analytics and/or SQL queries.
• Six (6) years of work experience in lieu of formal education is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs internal, external, and ad hoc data collection, reporting, and analyses to support institutional strategy and decision-making.
• Works with various areas across the College to provide data to assess programs, practices and events.
• Develops reports and presentations for internal and external audiences, including state and federal governments.
• Partners with ITS to define data parameters and query criteria, extracting datasets to power institutional analytics.
