Job summary

Front Range Community College is seeking a Research Analyst for the FRCC DSIR to analyze data, produce reports, and support institutional decision-making. The role emphasizes SQL-based reporting, data interpretation, and collaboration with multiple college departments.

The analyst will work with Power BI and Excel, participate in compliance reporting, and contribute to training and documentation. Westminster Campus requires weekly on-site presence with remote work options and occasional travel

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or related field.
Two or more years of experience in database development, data analysis or related experience.
Demonstrated experience writing SQL queries to filter, join and aggregate data for analysis.
Working knowledge of statistics and research techniques.
Knowledge of data structures and data manipulation techniques.

Responsibilities

Provides ad hoc reports using SQL, Python, and/or Excel for internal departments to enable data-informed decisions.
Interprets data findings for diverse populations and guides stakeholders on next steps.
Assists Director in delivering training on data analysis and analytic tools (Power BI, MS Excel, etc.).
Writes clear procedures and documentation for maintenance and cross-training.
