Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation's Parker Aerospace, Fluid Systems Division, seeks an IR&D Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams and guide the technical direction of high‑pressure valve and control systems. You will set engineering plans, manage resources, and ensure that program objectives and customer expectations are met within scope, cost, and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science/technical discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly desired.
• Typically 10–12 years of related experience.
• Has had 4+ years of supervisory/management responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical effort and define engineering plans for a major engineering team.
• Develop plans for multiple projects and allocate resources accordingly.
• Manage deployment of resources across programs and act as CAM for projects with EVM.
• Provide leadership on product development and new technology introductions.
• Serve as liaison with program management and customers on status and changes.
• Ensure process improvement, design standardization, and protection of Parker IP.
