Parker Hannifin’s Parker Aerospace, Fluid Systems Division seeks an IR&D Engineering Manager to lead and direct technology development teams, define engineering plans, and ensure program objectives, scope, cost and schedule constraints are met while designing valves and controls for high-pressure air and fluids.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in engineering or a science discipline; MS/MBA preferred.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience highly desired.
• 10–12 years of related experience typical.
• 4+ years of supervisory/managerial responsibility.
• Strong project management, documentation, and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and define engineering plans for a major team.
• Allocate resources across projects and programs.
• Act as CAM for projects applying Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Provide leadership on product development and new technology introductions.
• Interface with program management and customers on plans and changes.
• Ensure design standardization and documentation practices are followed.
