Job summary

Parker Hannifin's Parker Aerospace team seeks a Principal Engineer to serve as a design authority for axial piston variable displacement hydraulic pumps. The role emphasizes complex, innovative engineering, product improvement, and resolution of critical field issues with broad business impact.

You will lead technical strategies, mentor others, and collaborate across functions while applying advanced theories and data-driven methods to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions in aerospace

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, aerospace, electronic, or systems engineering (MS preferred).
• Ten or more years of related engineering experience.
• Ability to lead and mentor others across teams.

Responsibilities

• Acts as technical authority for axial piston pump design and related technologies.
• Leads development of new components, materials, processes and methods.
• Publishes findings and coordinates with internal/external stakeholders.
