Job summary

Talanto in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure incoming materials meet specifications using metrology equipment, hand tools and gauges. This onsite role collaborates across Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to support production readiness.

You will document results, identify nonconformities, verify calibration, and maintain traceable records. A2-year degree and hands-on inspection experience are preferred; IPC-A-610 knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associatedegree or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant quality-inspection experience.
• Experience performing quality-control inspections using metrology equipment, hand tools, gauges, microscopes, or similar measurement devices.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply specifications, inspection criteria, control limits, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming quality-control inspections on raw materials, bulk intermediates, subassemblies, and assemblies in accordance with approved inspection plans, specifications, and control limits.
• Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using metrology equipment, hand tools, microscopes, and other inspection instruments.
• Interpret inspection results, compare findings against acceptance criteria, and determine whether materials are suitable for release.

• Performincomingquality-controlinspectionsonrawmaterials,bulkintermediates,subassemblies,andassembliesinaccordancewithapprovedinspectionplans,specifications,andcontrollimits.

• Verifycalibrationstatusforinspectionandlaboratoryequipmentandsupportequipmentvalidation,maintenance,andcalibrationactivitiesasneeded.
• Evaluatematerialandproductqualitytrendsandsupportproblem-solvingactivitiestoaddressrecurringqualityissues.
• Maintainanorganized,safe,andcompliantinspectionenvironment,includingadherencetosanitation,safety,andqualityprocedures.
• PartnerwithQuality,Manufacturing,SupplyChain,andEngineeringteamstosupportmaterialdisposition,processimprovement,andproductionreadiness.
• Followrequiredpersonalprotectiveequipmentandsafetypracticesinawarehouseandmanufacturingenvironment.
