Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead with hardware design and manufacturing experience. This position is located in Linthicum, MD.

The IPT Lead will be required to lead an engineering team working to transition designs to production for a very important sector priority program with many time-critical elements and high management visibility. They will interface with personnel in the factory test cells, Engineering & Program Management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or STEM-related degree, with 5 years of industry experience, or master’s degree and 3 years of industry experience.
• Active Secret clearance required to start.
• Experience with hardware design and/or test equipment design.
• Experience with hardware in factory production and factory test environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team to transition designs to production for a high-visibility program.
• Interface with factory test cells, Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance.
• Brief internal and external leadership on progress and milestones.
