Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation in Silver Spring, MD is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Reprogramming (iPSC) to lead Manufacturing Associates in phase-appropriate GMP cell manufacturing. You will direct iPSC reprogramming, culture, expansion, scale-up, and banking, ensuring aseptic technique and meticulous documentation.

You will review batch records, deviations, investigations, and CAPAs, create and revise SOPs, and collaborate across teams to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a life science field.
• 5+ years hands-on cell culture and expansion in 2D/3D.
• GMP, aseptic technique, and cleanroom practices.
• Direct supervisory experience is a plus.
• Experience with iPSC reprogramming, banking and scale-up preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of Manufacturing Associates on iPSC reprogramming and scale-up.
• Ensure phase-appropriate GMP compliance, safety and documentation.
• Review batch records, deviations, investigations, and CAPAs.
• Create, review and revise SOPs and manufacturing procedures.
• Plan production schedules and support tech transfer and readiness.
• Collaborate with procurement and equipment teams.
